Maclear is situated in the foothills of the Drakensberg, Eastern Cape, South Africa, and is famous for its wild trout, Rockart (San Paintings), dinosaur footprints and spectacular scenery. Annual festivities include the Trout River Festival during April/May and Kapaailand Classic golf tournament during November.
